Legal woes be damned, Two And A Half Men must go on!
Charlie Sheen is returning to work next week on season 8 of the CBS show and executive producer Chuck Lorre is thrilled!
He says:
"I was in denial through the whole process. I was just hoping that everything would work out. I was hoping he would come back because we have a lot more stories to tell.
"I love the show and I love the cast and we have a great group of writers who have been a family for seven years. I certainly didn't want it to end. But if it did end, we had a great run."
Well fans of the show don't have to worry anymore — at least until the next time Charlie gets in trouble!

Change of plans.
Though Charlie Sheen was scheduled to accept his plea bargain in his criminal case on Monday, the hearing has now been moved to August 2nd.
Why? Who the hell knows? You want answers from the American Justice System???
What's interesting is that if Charlie accepts his plea bargain on August 2nd, which includes 17-30 days in jail, he's going to have to call in sick to work the next day or something. Production on Two and a Half Men starts August 3rd.
Sooo, how's that supposed to work???

Everybody else is doing it!
Bunim Murray will be producing a docusoap for TV Land featuring George Hamilton and his older son Ashley and younger son George Thomas.
The show is being described as a real Two and a Half Men with George and Ashley having to grow up when little George comes to live with them in El Lay.
Does the world really need another Two and a Half Men?

Although it was reported that Charlie Sheen would not renew his contract for Two and a Half Men, he has surprised us all! The TV star has signed on for two more years.
And they're paying him the big $$$$$!
"Charlie is very happy," claims a source close to negotiations.
Sheen originally wanted $2 million per episode. Warner Bros. countered with less than half that amount, but it's been said that the company added a considerable amount to their first offer.
Charlie released the following statement:
"To put a fitting end on the two-and-one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights. I want to thank Les Moonves for his support."
He's exactly what Monday nights need! Ha!

Wow! That saddest part is that the studio will probably pay up!
Charlie Sheen is in serious negotiations right now with Warner Brothers over the fate of his hit series, Two And A Half Men, and according to sources, will only to return if he is paid $2 million an episode next year!
Holy shiz!
A source says:
"There have been seven offers. We're going back and forth every 15 minutes."
Absolutely RIDIC. Is anyone worth that much??
CBS will announce its fall schedule on Wednesday, so we're sure we'll know soon enough whether or not Charlie got what he wants!
Thoughts??

It's been confirmed! No Charlie Sheen means no Two and a Half Men!
The producers of the hit show are saying they refuse to continue without their main star. A Warner Bros. source claims:
"There has been absolutely no discussion about reworking Two and a Half Men without Charlie. No one is even considering it. At this moment, if Charlie doesn't come back, that's the end of the series."
This is good news for Charlie, but not good news for the fans or the cast members. A source close to the actor reveals:
"Charlie has never taken jobs just for the money. He's had to turn down some movie offers in the past few years because of his show schedule and he'd like to be available for that again."
CBS is scheduled to announce its fall season next month so Charlie has until May 17 to change his mind.
What do U think? Should Charlie decide to come back?

Sorry, Two and a Half Men Fans, it looks like the rumors were true - sort of!
Charlie Sheen is speaking out about his much-speculated exit from the smash comedy, and is not happy about false reports that he was fishing for more ca$h!
However, the fact remains that regardless of his motivations, he wants out!
The troubled actor says:
“Much speculation and rumor has arisen from my current status surrounding Two and a Half Men. All of the numbers reported in the press are false. Claims from ‘inside sources’ regarding offers from the studio as well as my salary, on their best day, are without merit. Approaching the start of the current season and as far back as June ‘09, I submitted my terms for season eight to Warner Bros. and CBS respectfully. Both parties have known the score for over a year. In no way, has this been a hasty or negligent eleventh hour surprise. I offer this information out of love and respect to my crew, my on-set family, my writers, executive staff, as well as my real family, my dear friends and my loyal fans. We tape the final episode of the season this evening. If tonight’s show is the end for me as Charlie Harper, so be it. Another journey has begun. I take from the experience 161 shows filled with a kaleidoscope of amazing experiences, memories, friendships and gratitude. I remain humbly inspired. – C. Sheen”
Surprisingly well-written!
Unfortunately, we think this is for the best. Sheen may be in serious shiz when he returns to court regarding his domestic abuse case with wife Brooke Mueller, so at least this way he can exit the show on his own terms.
What do U think?? Are U sad to see Charlie leave Two and a Half Men??

Although we reported that Charlie Sheen would like to leave Two and a Half Men, he's supposedly leaked the story so he can get his way - and more $$$$$!
"He leaked it to light some fire under their asses to get what he wants," claims a source.
Charlie's rep denied that leaked the story, but it DID get people talking!
"When everyone saw the first story about him wanting to leave, it was like, 'What the f–k? Where did that come from?' " the insider continued. "No one heard anything about this—not his costars, the studio, no one."
"People magazine reported that Charlie told friends that he did not wish to come back to the show," said Sheen's rep. "While he has told friends that, he has made no announcement, made no statement or addressed any aspect of this story."
If he does leave, it's not gonna be on good terms considering it would leave so many people with out jobs and the show can't survive with out him.
The insider explains:
"Why on earth would he walk away from all that money? The show has stood behind him through all his personal stuff. He owes it to them and, more important, it's just too much money not to keep on going."
"He's an insurance liability. He'd probably have a hard time getting other roles because things aren't exactly stable with Charlie. He already cost Two and a Half Men some big money when they had to stop production so he could go to rehab."
Lame.

The show's not over yet!
Charlie Sheen was reportedly leaving his hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, but sources close to the show say that's laughable considering how much money he's poised to make over the next two seasons!
Charlie is currently making $825,000 per episode and he's going to ask for $1.5 million. Warner Bros. is rumored to be offering him $1 million!
Warner Bros. still stands to make money because all the new episodes will go in to the syndication deal and Charlie would be raking in multi-millions!
And seriously, what ELSE is he going to do? He's not exactly a hot commodity these days!
A source makes a great observation:
"Does anyone really think Charlie will walk away from $48 million?"
Nope — we sure wouldn't!
