We're very sad to report that Whoopi Goldberg announced this morning on The View that her mother passed away on August 29th.

She had suffered from a stroke a few days prior.

Our thoughts are with Whoopi and her family during this difficult time.

So sad.

Sharon Osbourne made it very clear how she feels about Elizabitch Hasselbeck on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

When asked who her least favorite member of The View was, Sharon replied, "The least? Oh that little blonde idiot. You know what she needs? She needs a good shtuping. She needs to get some humor there - it's like, lighten up bitch!"

She says:

"I am not ultra-ultra-conservative on every issue. I actually support gay marriage. I think the gay marriage thing would definitely surprise people. I mean, for some people, it will surprise them to the point that they won’t want to hear it. 'No, that can’t be, I really want to have this sort of idea of her in my head,' so I sort of rain on their parade there. I am a person that does believe that life begins at conception, but I also don’t believe that the government should tell women what to do with their bodies. So I’m torn there in terms of supporting laws [for or against abortion]. I always say I would rather change a heart than a law. I think it has to start there. Always trying to mandate, mandate, mandate this or that is not the way that I believe this country should run."

Even though he has name dropped her a time or two, during his appearance on The View a few weeks back, Barack Obama said he had no idea who Snooki was.

Because news travels only by juiced-out carrier pigeons when on break from GTLing to the Jersey Shore, Snooki is only now catching wind of this story and has decided to respond. She told sources:

"I know he knows who I am. Why did he have to lie and say he didn't know me? He did say Snooki and JWoww about the tanning stuff and now he doesn't know who I am? He has to stop lying."

You heard her holy pickleiciousness, Barack! You have denied her free taxes on tanning, do not also deny her the recognition she so drunkenly deserves. She had to drink a long of 40s to get to this point in her career. She demands a little of your respect, sir!

Ty Pennington's contract with ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition ends in spring of 2012 and now his team is working on getting the host a daytime show as well.

They're looking into other networks besides ABC and are hoping for a transition similar to Joy Behar's from daytime to primetime who also kept both time slots on The View on ABC and her own show on HLN.

Audience research suggests he'd do well with a daytime show and we don't see why not!

He's a hit considering his Q scores run higher than all daytime hosts aside from Ellen DeGeneres!

Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq skipped the premiere party last night for The Real Housewives of DC and it appears their presence was NOT missed.

Catherine Ommanney commented, "I don't want to see them; I don't want to talk to them. I don't want to be associated with them." And when asked if she'd do another season with Michaele she responded:

"Absolutely, categorically, no. I'll have to have therapy the rest of my life to get over being associated with her."

Another housewife Lynda Erkiletian added:

"I was very happy to hear that they had their own premiere party and would be attending that and not torturing us any more than they have in the past."

Wowsa! They really can't stand this broad! Mary Schmidt Amons also contributed in the Salahi slamming:

"I've really have had enough. The last two days have been a challenge, just to deal with the trauma of The View, overall."I don’t think the Salahis are really good at saying they’re sorry to anyone. It’s not my place to judge.

"All I know is that the accusations coming forward from the Salahi camp are completely false. It was on camera, a 200-person audience — Whoopi was just trying to encourage her to get back on task to the question, just get back to the question and answer the question.

"Our drama is smart, sophisticated, interesting and funny. It’s not table flipping and hair-pulling. I don’t want to judge them. They have to own their behavior and actions. I think [Salahi] just has to be herself. I want her to take control and be herself. And that’s all I’ll say."

Check out Whoopi Goldberg on The View explaining the BS claims from Michaele Salahi that Whoop hit her when she appeared on the show yesterday!

Whoopi Goldberg claims she did NOT hit the Real Housewives of D.C.'s Michaele Salahi while she was on The View on Wednesday, although we wish she did.

Salahi accused Whoopi of hitting her when she just nudged her to continue speaking about crashing the White House State Dinner. Then, Goldberg got PISSED when she found out what Salahi was saying.

"I didn't f—-ing hit you! Did you say I f—ing hit you?" screamed Whoopi at Michaele backstage.

Salahis' lawyer, Lisa Bloom, said:

"The producer went to get Ms. Goldberg, who then yelled a long series of profanities at Mrs. Salahi (yelling the word "f–k" or "f–king" at her dozens of times in a loud voice), accusing her of accusing Ms. Goldberg of 'hitting' her.

Mrs. Salahi said she'd never said that, got the producer back in the room, and the producer admitted that 'hit' was her word, not Mrs. Salahi's. Ms. Goldberg continued to verbally berate Mrs. Salahi, refused to apologize for her language or her on set behavior, and left the room."

Michaele insisted that Whoopi "grabbed her arm" and claims to have been in tears backstage. She found the whole experience of being called a party crasher "degrading and demeaning."

But The View is defending Whoopi!

The show's rep, Karl Nilsson, said:

"Whoopi lightly touched Ms. Salahi to get her attention and said to her 'Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please,' meaning could Ms. Salahi return to the original subject of the conversation. After the show, Ms. Salahi and her husband accused Whoopi of hitting Ms. Salahi.

As the broadcast clearly shows, the accusation was completely unfounded and erroneous. After the show and after being told she was being accused of hitting Ms. Salahi, Whoopi proceeded to defend herself verbally from this baseless claim in a heated exchange with the Salahis."

Whoopi is set to talk about the matter on Thursday's show! Can't wait for her to put that trash in her place!
