The UK's Channel 4 is developing what sounds like their own version of The Daily Show!

The topical comedy show, set to air in October, will broadcast live on Thursday or Friday nights, and will most likely feature David Mitchell, Jimmy Carr, Charlie Brooker, and Lauren Laverne - who previously worked together on the four hour Alternative Election Night back in May!

We want to watch! We bet British humor will work VERY well with that kind of format!

Spotted: After a stage mishap during rehearsal for her upcoming Los Angeles show, Brooke Shields was seen around town wearing a cast on her right hand.

Her rep confirmed, "Brooke broke her hand during rehearsal for the musical Leap of Faith. The cast will be off before previews on Sept. 11. It was a minor break and did not affect the production schedule."

Ouchie! Get better, bb!

It is a horrible name, but what's done is done!

Executive producer of Cougar Town Bill Lawrence confirmed that they will be keeping the original name of the show after brainstorming for new ones.

He explains:

“I’m not changing the title. We never thought of a good new one, which kind of sucks. And when you look at the modern landscape of television, changing the title means changing your DVR and all this other stuff.

“It’ll be a funny burden to have. It might be the worst titled show of all time.”

Ha!

Well at least they have a sense of humor about it!

Might be time to revise the lyrics “we’re halfway there,” Bon Jovi, because it looks to us like you’re there.

Bon Jovi made the #1 spot on Pollstar’s list, which ranks the top 20 concert tours by average box office gross per city. It also includes the average ticket price for North American shows, as well as the ranking for each concert from the previous week.

Props to Justin Biebs who entered the list fresh at number 9. WTG also to the Eagles, who rolled in at number 2 after many years of concerts. And of course, may the force be with Star Wars: The Concert, which was halfway there at number 10.

Celtic Woman just made the cut at number 20. Any chance they might overtake the Biebs? Any chance he’d enjoy it?

She's got a new gig!

Well…Star Jones had to eventually come up with a way to get back at Barbara and former View castmates, whom she described as “hateful” after abruptly quitting the show back in 2006.

The tv-host turned author is set to release a book about a fictional tv show, The Lunch Club.

And it gets even better!

In the book, the hosts "learn that a former colleague — who departed under mysterious circumstances, and is privy to all their backstage secrets - is coming back with a splash.”

Doesn’t this sound a little much like Jones’ experience as a host on The View???

In a recent interview, Boy George claims while attending one of her concerts, Lady GaGa requested his autograph… on her vagina! He explains:

"It was very brief when I met her, there were a lot of people in the room, it was all a bit chaotic. I haven't been around that kind of circus in years!

Good news for Tyra Banks.

The premiere of her hit show, America's Next Top Model, scored big in the ratings last night.

According to reports, ANTM scored a 3.1/5 in the ratings from 8-9:30pm.

Her ratings were up by three percent from the two-hour season opener last year.

So, did U all tune in last night and catch Perezito's cameo?
