Nicole Richie's momma, Brenda Harvey, has reportedly been tapped to join the cast of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

If Harvey accepts the offer, she'll be in dramz-filled company - Paris's aunts, Kim and Kyle Richards have already agreed to appear in the upcoming season of Real Housewives!

Captain Phil Harris of Deadliest Catch fame is recovering from his stroke even faster than expected!

After waking up from a medically induced coma earlier in the week, the Captain is now able to breathe without the aid of breathing tubes!

Way to go, bud!

The doctors are said to be "extremely impressed" with Harris' rapid progress - which has included breathing on his own, chatting up a storm and regaining feeling in the left side of his body.

It's only a matter of time until the Captain is back on the boat!

Mary Hart of Entertainment Tonight said that she has moments when she misses the days when ET "was all about the movie stars."

With reality television gradually taking over, Hart has had to report on people she doesn't even know about including Jon and Kate Gosselin. "I hadn't even seen an episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight," she admits.

But Hart takes it in stride saying that some of the changes are positive:

"It's a wonderful mix of things. Talking to Chaz Bono was one of the most moving interviews I'd ever done."

Does anyone even care about this pair of siblings anymore?

Brandy and her brother Ray J will star in a new reality show Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business which will center around their family including parents Sonja and Willie and their music production business.

VH1 has ordered 11 episodes of the hour-long series that will focus on Brandy raising her 7-year-old daughter while working on a new album, Ray J starting a new project of some kind and mother Sonja easing out of her role in the family business.

The show doesn't sound like it's going to be nearly as entertaining or trashy as For The Love of Ray J so we'll probably pass on this one.

Hey New York! Guess what?

The Real Housewives of New York City is losing one of it's fine, upstanding cast members.

Alex McCord and her hubby Simon van Kempen have not been asked back for the fourth season of the Bravo show. Why you may ask?

Well, if you frequently watch the show, you know what a pain in the ass Simon was and the producers no longer wanted to do business with him. Apparently, he threw a "hissy fit" when he wasn't given the same paycut as the other cast members (aka the wives). But a source from the show confesses that it was more than just Simon'a antics that did them in. The sources says:

"Viewers don't have a positive reaction to them, so they're easily replaceable at this point. Also, they don't really fit in with the other wives. All of the other women's story lines have interwoven, yet Alex and Simon have kept theirs separate. It isn't nearly as interesting as the other Housewives'."

No one wants to watch a boring housewife, certainly not anyone we know!

Tough break, losers. Enjoy the fame of the third season while it lasts!

Paris Hilton's reality show My New BFF is at the center of an $8 million lawsuit between the producers in Dubai and their plans to air the show in the United Arab Emirates.

Lionsgate Television execs claim that the producers at Uniqon Emirates, LLC signed a contract to co-produce and distribute the show in the Middle East, yet they have failed to pay the $4.7 million to cover the costs.

They have filed a federal suit for breach of contract in U.S. District Court in El Lay on Tuesday. The episodes of BFF in Dubai were filmed last summer and has not made it to TV.

Shame. Shame.

Captain Phil Harris is doing better!

The star of the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch was placed into a medically induced coma on Friday after suffering a stroke, but the captain has since woken up.

His sons, Jake and Josh Harris say their dad "showed some good signs of improvement" on Tuesday and even got a little snippy with the hospital's staff!

One of the first statements the captain made upon waking?

"Don't fuck up."

Sounds like someone's on the road to recovery!

Whether the idea mortifies you or intrigues you, it's out there in cyberspace and it's for real.

The Web-docuseries is called The Bump and it is being described by one source as " Jerry Springer meets Oprah meets American Idol meets Dr. Oz meets . . . America's conscience."

If one of these things doesn't seem to belong (aka American Idol) it's because we haven't gotten to the crux of the show just yet. Each week, a new pregnant woman in a different life circumstance will be presented to the viewers. At the end of the episode, the viewers will decide whether she keeps the baby…or whether she has an abortion.

Now, before you lose your minds, we have to explain: the "pregnant" women are not really with child. They are all just actors.

Are you all breathing again? Okay, good.

Now, the idea of the show supposedly came to the executive producers after President Barack Obama's commencement address at Notre Dame University last year. We're sure it wasn't his intention to have a show made, but he said something that really resonated with the creators of The Bump. Barack said he wanted "to find ways to communicate about a workable solution to the problem of unintended pregnancies."

Consider the lines of communication open.

The creators of The Bump hope the show can "humanize" the debate over abortions by presenting different circumstances to people who have perhaps never considered before constructing their opinion on the subject. Examples of the episodes include a woman who is married but got pregnant after her husband's departure to Iraq, a victim of domestic violence and another woman who just wants to be on a TV show.

The pilot episode premiered yesterday and can be viewed on the show's website as well as YouTube. Viewers are encouraged to comment and discuss each episode in length, though the comments will be monitored "to ensure civility."

This is one hell of social experiment. We think it could spark some really important discussions on the subject…or just get a lot of people really angry.
