McDreamy will get a big name athlete to participate in his second annual bicycling fundraiser. Olympic bronze medalist and Tour de France veteran Levi Leipheimer will join other champs in the Dempsey Challenge, a cycling event that raises money for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.

When Madonna has an idea, it's nothing but the biggest and the best for Madge!

The pop icon is currently following the footsteps of Bob Geldof by planning a Live Aid type charity concert to benefit Malawi, which will be shown on TV around the world.

She has already called several of her celeb friends, including Bono, to perform at the Walk Out of Poverty concert in September.

A source at her Raising Malawi charity has confirmed that plans are well underway so that Madonna "make(s) this the biggest fund-raiser the world has ever seen. (She) is throwing everything into it. She knows the bigger the event the more money will be raised."

We know that if Madonna is planning it, it will be amazing! We can't wait to see who else she lines up for the concert!

Madonna dropped in on a carnival fundraiser the daughter of Mohamed Al Fayed was organizing for The New School at West Heath in England this weekend.

Parents and children were shocked as the pop star casually walked by them. She even took the time to speak to the school's principal Christina Wells and made an announcement to the attendees.

After meeting with Madge, Wells said:

"This fundraiser will help grant a bursary for those young people whose lives have been damaged by abuse, bereavement, bullying or other trauma. We could never have expected such a huge star would have wanted to visit us. Madonna is very interested in the school because she loves to support underprivileged kids and she was particularly keen when she found out about the work we do. I was very nervous when I met her but she was very lovely."

Fayed's daughter Camilla Fayed had personally asked Madonna to attend so that she could raise awareness to the event.

A source said:

"She was more than happy to lend a hand and support - as she always is with charity work. But it was bizarre to see one of the world's biggest stars at such a normal event. She looked completely out of place."

Ha! We would have loved to seen that!
