HUGH Grant isn’t against the idea of fatherhood — but the star admits he probably wouldn’t cope without the help of nannies.

C’mon Hugh having a child takes more than that. If I was your babie’s nanny I would put the baby in your bed with you. You need to see that it isn’t as easy as u think. You have to be committed to it 24/7 not 10 minutes at a time or when you feel like it and at your age you would be past it because you just don’t have it in you to bother. Its tiring when your aging. You still think you are young but face it if you are complaining of back pain you won’t be bothered chasing active kids everywhere. Your babies nannies might like the idea and will be well paid for it but soon they will tire of it as well. You could always take the baby to golf with you, you’ll find lots of baby sitters there who would be more than happy to assist you. But you first have to find the mother or do ivf and find a surrogate. Buy yourself a cute doll that you don’t have to feed or change. As much as I admire and love you and am an avid fan of yours and would love to have your children if not at my age now which is all over bar the shouting as I have two teenage girls of my own and started by family at 31 and wish I started younger which was’t to be I would’ve enjoyed them becasue they were both active. Now I feel too worn out to be a grandmother when the time comes.
You may not get to see your children grow up and have children of their own much less want to enjoy them. By all means don’t let me stop you, go for it but don’t say your fan didn’t warn you. and as for the nannies the novelty will and always will wear off eventually. Don’y be lazy be a good dad if that’s what you want. Bon chance.
